Amelia Island State ParkGo shelling on the beaches of Amelia Island State Park. You just might find periwinkle, clam, scallop and oyster shells. The park is on 200 acres on the southern tip of the Island. Other popular activities at this family friendly shoreline destination including kayaking and canoeing, and all kinds of sandy fun on the beach. Take a guided horseback ride, or if you're lucky enough to have one, bring your own horse for an oceanside ride. There are plenty of chances for seeing wildlife, both on land and in the ocean.
